Terms of Service
Effective date: 11 June 2026
1. Who we are
guitarexercise.com ("the Service", "we", "us") is an online practice library for electric guitarists, operated as a sole proprietorship based in Greece. You can reach us at contact@guitarexercise.com. By using the Service you agree to these terms.
2. The Service
The Service provides guitar practice exercises as interactive tablature with audio playback, organised by technique and difficulty, together with practice-tracking features. A substantial part of the library is free to use without an account. A Premium subscription unlocks an enhanced study player and the premium exercise library, as described on the Pricing page.
3. Accounts
You can use the free tier without an account. When you create an account (via Google sign-in or an email link), you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping access to your email/Google account secure. You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent or guardian's consent, to create an account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscriptions, billing and trials
Premium subscriptions are sold and billed by Paddle, our merchant of record — Paddle handles checkout, payment processing, invoices and VAT. Current prices (€12/month or €120/year, including EU VAT where applicable) are shown on the Pricing page. New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial; you will not be charged if you cancel during the trial. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Acceptable use
The Service and its content are for your personal, non-commercial practice. You may not: redistribute, resell or republish exercises, tablature, audio or other content; scrape or bulk-download the library; share account or premium access with others; or attempt to circumvent access controls or interfere with the operation of the Service.
6. Intellectual property
All exercises, tablature, audio, text, design and software on the Service are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. Downloading a free exercise file for your own offline practice is permitted; any other reproduction or distribution requires our written permission.
7. Practice safely
Guitar practice is a physical activity. Warm up, build speed gradually, and stop if you feel pain or strain. The Service provides practice material, not medical advice; you practise at your own risk.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the Service is error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Changes
We may update the Service and these terms. For material changes we will give notice on the site (or by email, for subscribers) before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Greek law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the mandatory protections of your country of residence, and you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
